Every great Artist has someone grinding for them behind the scenes, and this is one of the people that is out there grinding. 24hourlatino.com sat down with Hugo Diaz of the Diaz Bros. and this is what he had to say...  

24: First off let our readers know who you are and what you do?

Hugo: I’m Hugo from the Diaz Brothers, Producer Label / Owner.

24: What recording artists have you worked with?

Hugo: I have been fortunate to work with many Artists such as, Trick Daddy, Trina, Wyclef, Lil Jon, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Dj Khaled, Dj Laz, Casely, and of course my cousin Pitbull and many others...

24: Is It True you are responsible for Pitbull's career?

Hugo: Well it’s not so much that we are responsible. It's more that we the (DIAZBROTHERS) stared our label to sign Pitbull, so that’s when we stared to grind out Pitbull’s first album and we signed Pitbull over to TVT records from there…



24: We know you've worked with a lot of artists, is there any one artist you would like to work with that you might not have?

Hugo: I would love to work with Neyo,T.I. , Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown, Ludacris, everyone that’s in my I-tunes lol

24: Have you won any awards?

Hugo: If you count gold records and platinum albums than yes… Last time I checked it was 10 gold albums and 5 platinum…Ohh and one nomination for a Latin Grammy lol

24: What is your favorite genre of music?

Hugo: Hip-Hop but I listen and enjoy all music.



24: Do you currently have any artists under your company Diaz Bros Music Group?

Hugo: Yes Casely and a partnership with Dj Laz for his album
 
24: If so, are you looking to sign any new artists? How would they contact you?
