Reggaeton stars Alexis y Fido premiered the remix of their hit single "Subete", which is currently in the first places in the Billboard Charts at 9:00 PM on the radio show "The Show con el 'Coyote'" from the station Reggaetón 94, a song from their next CD which is yet to be titled but is scheduled for released early 2009 under the Sony BMG label . This remix also features their music college and fellow boricua Don Omar, who is a start in his own right.
Alexis became aware of his two Latin Grammy nominations in the categories of Mejor Álbum Urbano (Best Album) for "Sobrenatural" and Mejor Canción Urbana (Best Urban Song) for "Soy igual que tú," while they where in a recording studio in Nueva York city recording their part of the song that has now increased the popularity of the original version. Don Omar was present in the studio with "Los Pitbulls" (Alexis y Fido) when they were given the news of their Grammy nominations.
This is the first time que "Los Reyes del Perreo" (Alexis y Fido)
collaborate with reggaeton legend "El Don" (Omar.) "La química fue
tremenda, aprendí mucho de Don Omar y estuvimos dos días en el estudio
muertos de la risa", Alexis elaborating on the experience of working
with Don, he says that he learned a lot from him and that most of the
time in the two days spent in the studio was spent 'Dying of Laughter"
laughing. Meanwhile Don Omar had this say "fue un verdadero placer
trabajar co Alexis & Fido y aprovecho para felicitarlos por su
nominación al Latin Grammy" basically that it was truly a pleasure working with them and then he congratulated them for their Grammy nominations.
