Coscuella recently cleared up the controversy that has been surrounding his new single, "PRRRUM", in which sounds something like the song from the Jamaican artist Nardo Ranks titled "burrup".

"I don't copy anybody, that would be a remix, same thing as an artist remaking an old hit song. What "PRRRUM" is saying comes from a dancehall hit from Nardo Ranks. I don't really like the topic but I like the 'prrrum' part. I found Nardo Ranks and we agreed on 40% of whatever the song makes will go to him, just for using 'prrrum'".

Coscuella, or nicknamed "El Princepe", prince in english, has been involved in a series of controversies. The biggest one being the altercation with Arcangel.

“Yo no me copio de nadie eso se llama re-hacer un éxito, al igual que muchos artistas re hacen los temas viejos. Lo que dice “PRRRUM” es original de un éxito de dancehall de Nardo Ranks .El tema de el no me gusta, pero la parte de “prrrum” me gusta mucho. Yo  conseguí al tipo y le negocie el 40% de todas las regalías que yo recibiría del tema por simplemente usar eso que dice prrrum”

Coscuella el apodado “El principe”en los ultimos meses ha estado envuelto en diferentes controversias , en donde las mas polimica fue el altercado con Arcangel “La maravilla” y ahora este por la similitud de su nuevo tema con otro de Nardo Ranks.
