Cosculluela will change his bad boy image when his next album is released, which is set for December 2nd. After recording tracks with controversal people in the industry, people like Hector 'El Father' and Ivy Queen as well as others, Coscu wants to redirect his attention towards relationships.

"I've been branded, but with this new album everything will change. I am working to commercialize my music and cross over so that my music can reach new heights".

The artist known for his 'Nananau' single claims that his songs have been more battle raps with no real meaning rather than sending a message through his music. "The best example is 'Nananau' and the second single 'Prrrum' that is somewhat of a remake that Naldo Ranks did. Alot of people do not know that we [Naldo Ranks and Coscu] got together and came to an agreement, I even paid royalties to remake the song my way. Artists that I admire like Michael Jackson and The Beatles have remade songs from other artists that they like, so why can't I?" said Coscu.

Communications between the two have been so tight they have even made a radio friendly song, which is a slight remix to the original, and will shoot a video. "Up to this moment, the video will be shot in New York with Marlon Peña", added the rapper. On the album he has collaborations with producers like Echo, DJ Blass, Hollywood, Kendo, Oneill, Mueca and Lele.

Cosculluela, who assures us he is comfortable with the attention he has been receiving, says he will remain 'humble' to continue making music with the help of his fans. "I am not living my full capabilities as an artist", he stated.




Cosculluela cambiará la percepción de maleante que se tiene de él cuando salga su primer disco de estudio el próximo 2 de diciembre. Luego de grabar temas controversiales junto a figuras de la talla de Héctor “El Father” (en sus inicios) e Ivy Queen (en la actualidad), entre otros, el artista quiere enfocarse en letras dirigidas a las relaciones de pareja.

“Me han puesto el sello, pero con este disco espero que todo cambie. Estoy trabajando para comercializar mi música y brincar el charco en vías de llegar a otro nivel”, dijo.

El artista, conocido por el sencillo “Nananau”, explicó que sus canciones se basan en “la pichaera” sin mayores cargas sentimentales debido a que intenta conectar con sus seguidores a través del mensaje. “El mejor ejemplo es ‘Nananau’ y ahora el segundo corte ‘Prrrum’ que es como un ‘remake’ que hice de una canción de Naldo Ranks. Muchas personas no saben que nosotros nos reunimos y hasta pagué regalías por el tema para hacerlo a mi manera. Muchos artistas que admiro (Michael Jackson y Los Beatles) han hecho esto con las canciones de otros artistas que les gustan y pues yo la cambié a mi estilo”, manifestó.

De hecho tanta es la comunicación con el legendario rapero panameño que grabaron además un ‘remix’, que sólo saldrá en versión para la radio, del que también rodarán un vídeo. “Hasta el momento el vídeo lo vamos a grabar en Nueva York con Marlon Peña”, adelantó el rapero conocido como “El Príncipe”. En el proyecto en general han colaborado productores como Echo, DJ Blass, Hollywood, Kendo, Oneill, Mueca y Lele.

Cosculluela, que asegura está muy cómodo con la atención que han generado sobre su persona los sencillos en promoción, concluyó diciendo que se mantendrá ‘humilde” para continuar con el favor de la audiencia. “No me estoy viviendo el artistiqueo por completo”, apuntó.
