Daddy Yankee, as reported, debuted on Venezuelan TV during the Miss Venezuela contest, is enraged with the release of his album "Mundial". In November the first cut off the album will be released titled "Grito Mundial". Yankee stated "the release is delayed because of negotiations in distribution".

"There are very high expectations, and like always, I am coming with something innovative. I am about evolution", he added about his album which features Don omar and Luis Fonsi.

On the other hand, he did celebrate his Latin Grammy nominations for Best Solo act and Best Urban Album.

"Being nominated every year is a blessing, because it signifies that I am an establesh artist. In this case, it goes beyond reggaeton because I am making music for every kind of demographic. But I'd lie if I said I didn't want to win", said the Big Boss.

A concert at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum is in the works for next year, and he is trying to come up with a new plan to fascinate his fans after just three years ago he landed in a helicopter at this same location.

"We never stop working, we travel non-stop and whenever I do take a break, I get called back to duty. I try to sleep even if it is for only four hours, so my body won't give out, but at the same time, I can't say no to this job", he concluded.

Daddy Yankee, quien el viernes debutó en la televisión venezolana durante el certamen Miss Venezuela, está enfocado en el lanzamiento de su nuevo disco, “Mundial”, en noviembre próximo. Y adelantó que en octubre estrenará el primer corte promocional, titulado ‘Grito Mundial’. “El atraso ha sido porque estamos cerrando la negociación de distribución”, explicó.

“Hay mucha expectativa y lo que puedo decir es que, como siempre, vengo con algo innovador. Lo mío es la evolución”, añadió sobre el álbum que contiene dúos con Don Omar y Luis Fonsi.

Por otro lado, el cantante celebró sus nominaciones a los premios Grammy Latino (Mejor solista y Mejor álbum urbano).

“Estar nominado cada año siempre es un triunfo, porque significa que eres un artista establecido. Y en este caso, eso trasciende el reguetón, porque siento que estoy haciendo música para todo el demográfico. Pero te mentiría si no te dijera que quiero ganar”, comentó.

Un concierto masivo en el Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot está en agenda para el año que viene, y Daddy Yankee ya está pensando cómo logrará impresionar a su fanaticada luego de haber aterrizado en un helicóptero durante su espectáculo en esa misma localidad hace tres años.

“No paramos de trabajar, viajamos sin parar y cuando quiero hacer una pausa me llaman de nuevo. Trato de dormir aunque sean cuatro horas, para que el cuerpo no se agote, pero en este momento no se le puede decir que no al trabajo”, concluyó.
