The main issue among musicians, actors and artists who wanted to come to come together and raise money for Haiti was the funds would be channeled.

They needed to feel confident that the money raised would actually get to the island. The Pro Niñez Dominican-Haitian Commitee reassured everyone that their organization has been sending money over to the island for years.

Tego Calderon, Awilda Sterling, Cultura Profetica, La PVC, Mima, Vico C, Charlie Sepulveda, Teatro Breve, Trafico Pesado, Welmo, Jose Luis "Fofe" Abreu, Davila 666, Israel Lugo, Ricardo Alvarez and others have already confirmed their assistance.




La inquietud principal de los músicos, actores y artistas plásticos que querían colaborar con el pueblo haitiano era cómo se canalizaría el dinero.

Necesitaban sentirse confiados de que la ayuda llegaría hasta este país caribeño, que fue sacudido la semana pasada por un terremoto. El Comité Pro Niñez Dominico-Haitiana les dio la seguridad por su base comunitaria y su respaldo a los pueblos haitiano y dominicano que se remonta a años.
