José Luis Rodríguez “El Puma”, who just finished wrapping up a new album paying homage to Sandro, was in Argentina promoting the project. Ever so cleverly, he made a special guest appearance on the show with the highest ratings in the country, "The Susana Gimenez Show".

It was there that El Puma received a phone call from Sandro, where he is currently in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant, he told Sandro he wanted to meet him, but for some reason when he showed up to see him, the visit was denied.

Rumors are that El Puma is taking advantage of Sandro's health to make a comeback with his own musical material.

But on the show, this is what Sandro had to tell El Puma:

"You have got to make carribean music, that's what fits your person", kind of like saying 'I don't like the way you sing my music', at least thats what we think.

José Luis Rodríguez “El Puma”, quien acaba de finalizar un nuevo disco de homenaje a Sandro con las canciones del artista gaucho, viajó hasta la Argentina para comenzar su promoción, y muy inteligentemente se presentó en el programa con mayores ratings del país, “El show de Susana Gimenez”.

Allí, El Puma recibió una llamada de Sandro, quien se encuentra muy grave de salud en un hospital y a la espera de un transplante de corazón, y aunque El Puma le dijo que quería conocerlo, y comprometió a Sandro a recibirlo, al momento de la cita, éste negó la visita.

O sea que El Puma se quedó vestido y alborotado, ya que no pudo conocer al cantante argentino.

Los rumores de la negación de Sandro, se enfocan en que consideró que El Puma se está aprovechando de la coyuntura de su enfermedad para hacerse publicidad con este material musical, y que solamente busca su beneficio económico.

Ahora, tenemos que resaltar que durante el programa de Susana Gimenez, Sandro le dijo al Puma lo siguiente:

“Tu tienes que cantar canciones caribeñas, esas son las que te quedan bien”; como quien dice, no me gustó la manera en que cantaste mis canciones. O por lo menos eso entendimos nosotros.
