Promoting his new album 'Masacre Musical' in Dominican Republic, De La Ghetto was interviewed on the Reggaerazo show on the Kiss 95 Radio Station in Santo Domingo. Upon his questioning, this is what he had to say:

Q: What does Daddy Yankee, Don Omar and Wisin and Yandel represent in the Reggaeton genre?

De La Ghetto: Well, I can say that they are pilars among the movement, thanks to them this music is where it is at. Although I think it's time for the newcomers to shine, like Arcangel, Jowell and Randy, etc. You've gotta give the public what they want, a different flavor, we are the future of this genre. Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, and Wisin and Yandel are saturated. It's time for new faces to represent the urban market.

Q: From 1 to 10, how do you rate Daddy Yankee?

De La Ghetto: A 10 because he has maintained since the 90's, he took this music to a whole 'nother level with Gasolina (the famous song that made Daddy Yankee's career), besides he has done things in this lifetime that no one would have ever done, like being in on the english music charts, contracts with Pepsi, his own clothing line, sneakers, perfumes.. To me Daddy Yankee is an example we should all follow, especially the ones just starting. In the 90's he wasn't making much money, he would make $100-200 a song, because nobody wanted to listen to this music, but look at everything he has accomplished now. I am thankful for his efforts.

Q: From 1-10, Don Omar?

8 because he gave this music the versatality that it has. He's been doing other things like baladas, bachatas, and salsa. The man doesn't do only reggaeton, always trying new things.

Q: Why an 8?

Because he isn't the same as before, an 8 is fine.

Q: 1-10, Wisin and Yandel?

10 for sure, they are the only artists that every album they release is a hit. Sometimes it seems like they are going to come off with something garbage, but they fool you!

De La Ghetto que se encuentra de vista en Republica Dominica por motivo de promocion de su disco Masacre Musical, tuvo una entrevista en el programa El Reggaerazo de la 5 que se transmite en la estacion de raido Kiss 95 en Santo Domingo, a De La Ghetto se le hicieron varias preguntas una de ellas fue esta :

¿Que representa Daddy Yankee, Don Omar y Wisin & Yandel en el genero del Reggaeton?

Bueno que te puedo decir ellos son los pilares de este movimiento, gracias a ellos el genero esta donde esta, aunque creo que es tiempo de los novatos (Arcangel, Jowell & Randy, ect ). Al publico hay que darle cosas diferentes nosotros somos el futuro de este genero. Daddy Yankee, Don Omar y Wisin & Yandel ya estan muy saturados es tiempo de que nuevas caras represente al genero urbano.

Del 1 al 10 ¿cuanto le das a Daddy Yankee? Un 10, por que Yankee sea mantenido desde los 90, el llevo este genero a otro nivel con la Gasolina, ademas a hecho cosas que jamas en la vida uno pensaba que se podia lograr como estar en el mercado anglo, contractos con Pepsi, su propia linea deRopa, Tenis, Perfumes, para mi Daddy Yankee es un ejemplo a seguir para todos los cantantes que estan empezando en este genero, en los 90 el no ganaba mucho dinero cantaba por 100 y 200 dorales por que nadie queria saber de esta musica y mira ahora todo lo que a logrado gracias a su esfuerzo.

Del 1 al 10 ¿cuanto le das a Don Omar?

Un 8 por que Don Omar fue el que le dio la versatilidad a este genero ya quecomenzo hacer cosas diferentes como Baladas, Bachatas, Salsa el hombre no solo se queda en el Reggaeton, siempre prueba cosas diferentes.

¿Y por que un 8?

Un 8 esta bien ya el no es el mismo de antes

Del 1 al 10 ¿cuanto le das a Wisin & Yandel?

Un 10 seguro, son los artistas del momento cada disco que sacan es un Exito. A veces tu crees que van a bajar pero al contrario cada dia suben mas!
